Simple-majority lead continues to grow
Supporters of Resolution 4204, the measure that would allow property-tax levies for schools to pass with a majority vote, now leads by nearly 15,000 votes, up from 11,000 Wednesday.
The measure trailed by 38,000 votes on Election Day, but slowly caught up over the last week.
The count as of Thursday at 5 p.m.
In favor: 792,811votes, 50.5 percent
Opposed: 777.915 votes, 49.5 percent
Change from yesterday: Supporters’ lead grew from 11,000 to 14,900 votes.
Support in King County: 58.9 percent
Estimated number of votes left to be counted statewide: 20,211
Estimated number left to be counted in King County: 10,500
